Born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, into a progressive, educated family, I am the youngest of three siblings. My father, a doctor, and my mother, an active, forward-thinking woman, instilled in me a passion for learning and service. I excelled academically and participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities during my school and college years.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued a Master's in Political Science, Public Administration, LLB and Ph.D. Though I aspired to join the Civil Services, societal pressures led me to marry at the age of 20.
